Hi! I’m Lindsey,
A Social Worker and Mental Health Advocate
​Welcome to my blog cultivated by my experiences, opinions, and personal writings.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with a Master's of Social Work from the joint program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina A&T. In undergrad, I received my Bachelor's of Social Work with a minor in American Sign Language from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I have experience working in acute inpatient facilities, emergency shelters, IDD day programs, an advocate with DSS, and now as an outpatient mental health therapist.
Beyond education and experience, I have struggled with trauma, mental health, chronic illness, loss, and heartbreak. This blog has become a place to voice my inner feelings, provide insight into mental health issues, and make lasting connections.
